Mr. Duesterhoeft brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in the digital health industries, most recently as CEO of A&D Medical (Americas).

Prior to joining Isowalk, Mr. Duesterhoeft served as President & CEO (Americas) for A&D Medical, a Japanese multi-industry company focused on precision measurement solutions for the diagnosis and management of health conditions. A&D was an early pioneer in the development and commercialization of wireless connected devices, apps and software for connected health.
Prior to his work with A&D, Mr. Duesterhoeft served as President of Honeywell Lifecare, a pioneering telehealth/remote patient monitoring company which was a market leader in the Home Health Agency, Hospital Care Transition, Managed Medicare/Medicaid, and Connected Care segments.
Mr. Duesterhoeft, completed GE’s executive development courses at Crotonville and achieved Design for Six Sigma and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications during his tenure at GE Healthcare, where he spent the first ten years of his career in medical technology and marketing. He is a two-time winner of Medical Marketer of the Year awards and also received two Chairman’s Awards for Business Development and Global Strategy at A&D Medical.
Isowalk’s services and solutions for aging in place will offer machine learning mobility analytics for caregivers and clinicians, including fall prediction, risk alerts and emergency response services. For end users, the technology provides advanced anti-fall mobility assistance and gait/balance training that significantly reduces falls and fall risk.
Mobility is the leading physical challenge for seniors, with some 24% of people 65+ using one or more mobility aids. Emergency room visits for senior falls that have been caused by a mobility aid account for over $2 billion in direct healthcare spending in the US annually.
